Important information about making donations online

• We are using PayPal to process payments.  Part of eBay Inc., PayPal is a global standard for online payment transactions between individuals and small entities.  With PayPal, you can use a major credit card, direct debit from a checking account, or any balance you have in a PayPal account.
• If you have a PayPal account, you can certainly use it; however, you do not need to establish one.
• Once you press the “Pay Now” button below the shopping cart, you will be brought to PayPal to complete the transaction. When finished, you will have the option to print a receipt and return to this site.
• All online purchases and donations are made to Gateway Community Church on behalf of Gateway to Nepal.  Your credit card company will record the transaction vendor as PayPal with “GATEWAY” on the line item.
• The security of your financial information is extremely important.  No account details are shared with this website, the Gateway to Nepal team, or Gateway Community Church. It’s kept entirely within the confines of PayPal. Only your gift and your contact information are shared with us.

Sponsor an orphan in far-west Nepal

In western Nepal there are over 20,000 orphans.  Many have lost their fathers because of the civil war that took place in Nepal for many years, or their parents gave them up because they could not afford to take care of them.  Gateway to Nepal in conjunction with Grace Foundation (a local Nepali organization) is working to provide food, shelter, health care and schooling one orphan at a time.  It costs $35 USD per month to pay for food, clothing, health care, shelter and schooling for an orphan in Nepal. Currently there is one orphanage taking care of 10 orphan girls in Tikapur, but we have a vision for many more orphanages.

To begin the process of sponsoring a child, click the Subscribe button. Choosing this option will permit you to set up recurring payments using PayPal of $35.00 monthly, drawn from a credit card or any PayPal balance you may have. You can cancel these payments at any time by visiting paypal.com. (We will also be happy to help you.)

All “Moo Bucks” donations will be allocated 100% to Nepal ministry efforts, minus any PayPal processing fees (approximately 3%.)

Your “Moo Bucks” donations are tax-deductible.  You will be receiving a receipt from Gateway Community Church.  (Be sure to provide your complete mailing address with PayPal so your receipt isn’t delayed.)
